Once upon a time, I built a very nice model with my friend Mark.
It is a very detailed model of a Tang dynasty temple in XiAn. a fine example of traditional Chinese carpentry
You can even disassemble it like the original architecture
But because it is a sectional model, it comes with its own structural compromise, so over time I had to put it on a stand to avoid touching too much, despite how great of a toy this would have made,
So I decided to make it into an AR Mobile game, so I can play with it again.
